What do you love best about summer?  The sweet taste of watermelon and peaches? The joys of cookouts and long evenings?  Days on the river or at the beach?   For the weeks of July, we are celebrating SUMMER with texts that recall some of our favorite things about summer with a little Christmas in July mixed in for good measure.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY!  Throughout July, everyone will have an opportunity to submit their favorite Christmas songs, carols & hymns. The top 10 songs will be featured in our Christmas Cantata in December!  Could we include little choruses as “teasers” in July?  The tentative plan is to allow people to vote July 21 and 28 in worship (2 Sundays closest to July 24)... but the results wouldn’t be revealed until the Christmas Cantata in December.
