The goal of children’s ministries at Bluffton United Methodist Church is to teach our children to love our Lord. He created each of us individually. He thought of making mountains, oceans, animals, and you! What love He has for us! How wonderful a Creator He is! We would love for you to join us for any or all of the activities we have to offer.

Summer Kids Church 2021

As we continue to add programs back, we will be exploring a new program for summer. Kids will have the opportunity to come to Kids Church for the first half of the service.  Drop off time starts 15 minutes before service begins!

Come learn about the bible, crafts, and fun songs and then we come back to sanctuary to have a Children’s moment and stay until the end of the service.

They will have clues to listen to for the Sermon.

Vacation Bible School 2021

Vacation Bible School will be the week of July 12, 2021.   The children will have a fun-filled week learning why God made each of us so unique.  Children experienced excellent music and dancing, yummy treats, and most of all learning more about God! Volunteers of all ages can during the week. For more information click on the picture above.

Easter Egg Hunt

A favorite tradition in our church. Rain or shine, our youth hide eggs for the children to seek. Traditionally, children empty their treat-filled eggs into their baskets, return the eggs for the next year, and have a yummy snack.

Nursery during Church

Nursery is available for all children ages 6 weeks through 5 years. We have very capable, background-checked attendants providing love and care for your children.

Acolytes

Acolytes are an important part of the service. Children aged 7 and up may serve as accolytes for the church service. Acolyte classes are held periodically throughout the year.

Parents' Night Out

Dinner and fellowship for the children and a chance for parents to get away for a few hours away each month. Usually the second or third Saturday of the month, each parent who signs up drops their kids off at the church for dinner and a movie provided by another parent couple. This is a shared ministry – if you drop your kids off for a night, you must then sign up to provide dinner and a movie. This runs from September through May.

Trunk or Treat

Before Halloween we party in a safe way that is great fun for children and adults! Adults decorate their car trunks and the children “trick or treat” around the cars. Fun for all ages!
