New to the Lowcountry?
Most of our members have relocated to the Bluffton area from somewhere else; very few are "natives" of the South Carolina Lowcountry. Many arrived initially as tourists, attracted by the golf, beaches and warm weather of nearby Hilton Head Island. Of those, many eventually became residents of greater Bluffton, from Moss Creek to the Sun City community in Okatie.
Whether a full-time or seasonal resident or visitor seeking a church home, you are cordially invited to share our worship experience and get acquainted with us.
Joining Bluffton United Methodist Church
Everyone is welcome to worship with us and participate in our ministries and sacraments. You do not have to be a member. Joining as a member is a mutual commitment to share in our efforts to follow Jesus Christ and to be affiliated with us and The United Methodist Church. We invite you to join regardless of your religious background.
