All 6th through 12th graders are invited to join us for worship, games, friends, service projects, trips, activities and…food!
Our Wednesday night sessions run from 6-7:30p in the Spring and Fall…but we have fun year-round! Spring activities have included zoo trip, service projects, cook-outs, community classes, and in the fall season canoeing, putt-putt, more service projects, and a low country boil.
In the summer and winter, we have our pig roast and pancake breakfast and join other youth from United Methodist churches throughout South Carolina in major events offered by the South Carolina Ministries with Young People (SCMYP) organization, Learn more about the Saskehatchie summer work project, the summer Immerse Retreat, and the winter Revolution musical worship weekend put on by SCMYP below
Salkehatchie Summer Service is a pioneering servant ministry at selected sites in South Carolina involving high school and college age youth, adult community leaders and persons of different cultures in upgrading housing, motivating community cooperative efforts by helping persons to help themselves, and providing all participants with opportunities for personal growth and service. Revolution is a winter weekend in Columbia, SC where 2,000+ youth come together to worship our awesome God! It provides a place for young people in South Carolina to have a powerful, life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ through music and relevant messages. Revolution is designed to invite more and more people to know and live for Christ through passionate worship and spiritual renewal.
